Early data shows that the iPhone 17 series is selling faster than the iPhone 16 series. In India, pre-orders have already exceeded last year’s numbers, with the new series expected to make up to 15 to 20% of Apple‘s total shipments of the quarter. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is the most popular model among buyers, with production, 60% higher than the iPhone 16 Pro Max. In China, online pre-orders sold out within seconds, and in-store pick-up slots in Shanghai were booked in just 20 minutes. The demand for iPhone 17 has also created supply shortages, especially for pro and promax models, with delivery times extending up to 3 weeks for some versions.

Premium Models Drive Sales and Growth

The iPhone 17 lineup includes four different models. With iPhone 17 Pro Max, going up to 1,50,000. Despite higher prices, customers continued to buy in large numbers, praising Apple for its innovation and quality. Apple’s Q3 2025 results show record revenue of $94.04 billion, with iPhone sales contributing $44.6 billion, almost half of total sales and showing 13% growth compared to the last year.
