Ventia Services Group Ltd (ASX: VNT) announced it has won an extension to its contract for Court Security and Custodial Services with the Western Australian Government. Spanning March 2027-June 2028, the extension is estimated to deliver around $110 million in revenue during its run.
What is included in the Ventia contract?
It includes a range of services to support the justice system in Western Australia. This includes court security, custody, transportation, medical movements and other services we provide for support. The extension also keeps Ventia’s long-standing relationship with the WA Department of Justice, which started in 2017.
The experience and workforce of the company across metropolitan and regional Western Australia would help ensure it continues to provide those services, they added.
$110 Million Deal Adds Revenue Visibility
The contract extension provides revenue visibility for another 15 months to March 2027 for Ventia. The agreement continues the company’s partnership with the Western Australian Government, while also enabling delivery of vital justice services to the people who call WA home.

Ventia Managing Director and Group CEO Mark Ralston said he was pleased the company had been able to extend its relationship with the Western Australian Government.
Ventia’s team has worked with the Department of Justice since 2017, he said, adapting to changing operational needs and increasing demand in WA’s justice system.
Ventia's full-time staff across metropolitan and regional areas, who operate in accordance with the standards required for the safe, effective operation of the justice system were also pointed out by Ralston as one of the important partners to continue covering this immediate demand.
