Advisory-to-delivery model Acquire Intelligence said the acquisition creates a full advisory-to-delivery AI model designed for Australian mid-market companies.
Applied AI Australia’s service, including AI readiness assessments, executive strategy briefings and governance frameworks, will now serve as the first stage of client engagements before implementation work begins.
The combined business is targeting organisations generating between $100 million and $1 billion in annual revenue.
Acquire Intelligence said many firms in that segment struggle to access both strategic AI advice and large-scale implementation capabilities through a single provider.
“If viable value is not identified before a dollar is committed, Acquire Intelligence refunds consulting fees in full,” the company said.
“AI is only useful if it does one of three things: grow the business with less, cut the cost of running it, or get the product out the door faster,” said Acquire Intelligence founder and chief executive Scott Stavretis.
Rodriguez joins leadership team
Applied AI Australia founder Ramon Rodriguez will join the business as General Manager of Market Advisory.
Rodriguez will also continue hosting the Applied AI Australia podcast, which targets Australian CEOs, CFOs and CIOs making AI investment decisions.
Acquire Intelligence said the podcast gives the company a direct channel to executive decision-makers evaluating enterprise AI spending and transformation projects.
Rodriguez said Applied AI Australia was built to address growing demand from executives seeking clearer commercial frameworks around AI investment and governance.
Australia’s AI spending surge
The acquisition comes as enterprise AI investment accelerates across Australia.
Research from Grand View Research projects Australian enterprise AI investment will rise from $644 million in 2024 to $4.14 billion by 2030.
KPMG’s 2025 CEO Outlook found 70% of Australian CEOs ranked AI among their top investment priorities.
However, a 2026 survey from the Tech Council of Australia and Datacom found only 7% believed Australia currently had the capability to fully support that demand.
Research from the CSIRO National AI Centre and Forrester Consulting found Australian businesses generated an average A$361,315 in additional revenue for each AI-enabled solution implemented.
Outsourcing growth strategy
Acquire Intelligence said the acquisition strengthens its position as both an AI advisory and implementation partner.
The company recently ranked seventh in the OA500 2026 index of the world’s top outsourcing companies.
Acquire Intelligence is also an Outsource Accelerator BPO partner, using the platform’s marketing and sourcing network to expand enterprise deal flow.
“Our advisory finds the biggest and best wins for your business, the ones that deliver the most ROI without excessive costs or budget blowouts,” Stavretis said.
What Happens Next
Acquire Intelligence is expected to integrate Applied AI Australia’s governance and advisory framework into its broader consulting and outsourcing operations as demand for enterprise AI deployment continues to rise across Australia’s mid-market sector.
The combined company will focus on helping businesses move from AI strategy and governance planning to operational rollout and outsourcing delivery.
