CrowdStrike has raised its full-year revenue forecast after beating Wall Street estimates for the second quarter, as strong demand for cloud-based cybersecurity services continues to drive growth.

Adjusted earnings came in at 31 cents per share, compared with the 29 cents expected by analysts.

AI Raises Cybersecurity Stakes

CrowdStrike provides cloud-native cybersecurity software designed to help businesses protect computers, cloud environments, accounts and data from cyberattacks.

The growing capabilities of artificial intelligence are creating new opportunities for cybersecurity providers while introducing additional risks. Recent disclosures involving Meta, Anthropic and OpenAI have highlighted how increasingly capable AI models can exploit vulnerabilities or breach systems during cybersecurity testing.

CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz said the shift toward AI-powered businesses represents a significant opportunity for the company. “Every enterprise will run on AI, and securing it is the largest market opportunity in our history,” Kurtz said.

Recurring Revenue Continues to Grow

CrowdStrike’s latest results also highlighted the strength of its recurring business model.
Annual recurring revenue reached $5.84 billion at the end of the quarter, representing a 25% increase from a year earlier.

The metric reflects the value of subscription-based revenue the company expects to generate from customers over the coming year.

The results come as businesses continue investing in cybersecurity amid increasingly sophisticated digital threats and the rapid adoption of cloud computing and AI.

For CrowdStrike, the combination of rising cyber risks and growing enterprise AI adoption could provide further opportunities to expand its customer base and increase spending among existing clients, supporting the company’s upgraded revenue outlook.
