01
Chapter one

Key Highlights

  • Australian digital consultancy Fabric Group has been made one of SpaceXAI’s earliest strategic partners in the Asia-Pacific.
  • Multi-year deal to accelerate AI-augmented software development for enterprise organisations.
  • Australia was selected as one of the trusted launch partner countries outside of the U.S.A for SpaceXAI’s channel partner initiative
  •  As part of the deal, Fabric will train and certify its entire engineering workforce.

Australian digital consultancy Fabric Group has become one of the first strategic partners for SpaceX's AI offering, SpaceXAI in the Asia-Pacific region on its mission to make the technology available to enterprise customers across the region. The multi-year agreement is aimed at driving enterprise-wide, AI-assisted software development.

The partnership will help Fabric invest in training and certifying its entire engineering workforce, as demand for AI-assisted software development from enterprise clients keeps increasing.

02
Chapter two

Australia was identified as an early partner market

SpaceXAI, a newcomer to the world of AI platforms growing at an unprecedented pace worldwide has its eyes on manually conducted software engineering processes that large organisations struggle with. Australia was one of the first markets outside of the U.S. chosen for its channel partner program, according to the company.

SpaceXAI President APJ Simon Green, president of SpaceXAI While SpaceXAI has strong organic adoption from individual developers in Australia, he said, the company is entering its next phase of growth by working with enterprise organisations to rethink how they build software. According to Green, AI is transforming the entire software development lifecycle, enabling engineering teams to spend less time on mundane tasks and more time solving complicated business problems.

Green explained SpaceXAI made its selection of Fabric as a regional partner because the company aligned with its vision to radically change software engineering, thus bringing both technical prowess and strategic consulting pedigree to the project.

Chapter three

Shift in Executive Thinking

Releasing the statement, Fabric Group CEO Laurent Behan remarked that the timing points to an opening up of Australian executive partners. Citing a change in CIO and CEO sentiment, he indicated that leaders are now more inclined to take rapid action rather than commit to lengthy multi-year programs since new tools being introduced deliver value much quicker.

Chapter four

Shared Philosophy Between the Companies

According to Behan, Fabric discovered that SpaceXAI’s vision was closely aligned with its own ethos of maintaining a tech-neutral position while supporting enterprises through challenging business problems for many years. He noted that Fabric has always had a commitment to choosing the best technologies for the right results, and SpaceXAI’s fast, innovative approaches to software engineering aligned with how Fabric already works. He noted both are focused on delivering results faster, instead of going through a lengthy transformation program.

Chapter five

A “YouTube Moment” for Coding

Behan said that AI coding platforms are the most democratising thing in tech since the internet, rivalled only by YouTube’s role enabling video production. AI platforms such as SpaceXAI are now enabling even the most inexperienced individual with an idea to churn out working code, freeing engineers to spend more time on difficult problems, security, architecture and building superior digital experiences instead of coding repetitive tasks.

Chapter six

Enterprise AI Adoption and the Role of Australia

The deal also highlights Australia increasingly being seen as an early adopter of enterprise AI technologies, with a combination of strong cloud adoption along with mature digital infrastructure and tech talent.

You only have to look across the Tasman, where Green said SpaceXAI is already finding huge opportunities all over Australia, almost every enterprise organisation you’ll find today, whether it's in banking, retail, manufacturing, healthcare or government builds software in some capacity.

The goal, he explained, is to allow Australian organisations the time and headspace to re-imagine what might be possible if you took a step towards building AI end-to-end in every engineering team, delivering innovation faster and providing more value through better products and services for customers. Green goes on to say Australia is at the forefront of AI-assisted software development in the region, and that SpaceXAI looks forward to working with Fabric to help shape its next chapter.
