Champion Iron has named Steve Boucratie as its Chief Legal and Strategy Officer and Michael Marcotte as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.
Boucratie, who has been with the company since 2019, was previously Senior Vice President of General Counsel and Corporate Security at Champion Iron. He has also more than 15 years of senior executive experience in mining and will lead the company's legal activity whilst supporting corporate strategy initiatives and long-term growth opportunities.
Marcotte has been with Champion Iron since 2018 and most recently was Senior Vice President Corporate Development and Capital Markets. He has over 15 years of experience in the financial sector.
David Cataford, Chief Executive Officer stated that the appointments provide Champion Iron with the capacity to implement its strategy and facilitate long-term growth opportunities, augmenting his leadership alongside a larger senior executive team.
