Boeing reported a strong performance in June delivering 60 commercial aircraft, which is a 27% increase compared to the same month last year. The total includes eight jets for Chinese customers, marking the first such deliveries to China since it lifted a ban in May to ease trade tensions with the US. 

China stopped accepting Boeing deliveries in April after a spike in tariff-related issues. But following an agreement to temporarily reduce tariffs, Chinese airlines resumed the orders.

737 Max Remain, Top Sellers 

Out of 60 jets delivered on June 40, 24 were 737 Max aircraft, which is Boeing’s most popular model. South and Nights alone got 10 of them. The company also provided nine 787 Dreamliners, four 777 freighters, and five 767’s  Three of the 767s will be converted into KC-46 military refueling tanks by Boeing’s defence unit. 

Boeing delivered 44 aircraft in May and 45 in June 2024. With June’s total, Boeing has now delivered 280 aircraft in the first half of 2025. 

116 New Orders Booked and Airbus Slightly Ahead in Deliveries 

In June, Boeing also logged 116 new orders, including 54 for 737 Max and 62 for 787. Among the biggest numbers is for Alaska Airlines with 12 737 Max during the month. Boeing’s June order number is lower than May’s, which had marked one of the company's strongest order months in history. 

In total, Boeing has booked 668 gross orders in 2025 so far, or 625 after cancellations and changes. River Airbus slightly outpaced Boeing in June, delivering 63 aircraft.
