Nvidia Corp is working with South Korea's LG Group to develop humanoid robots and future datacenter technologies, Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang said on Monday.
In a press conference that followed, Huang explained the collaboration revolves around motor technology and mechanical systems to help ensure "high-quality humanoid robots" and robotics projects. Huang said it is collaborating with them on both the technology of motors and mechanical systems so they can pull together humanoid robotics and the future of robotics.
LG and Nvidia also collaborate on future designs for the data center in addition to robotics. According to Huang, the two companies are working together on designing next-gen data centers which he told analysts will be crucial to up-and-coming artificial intelligence workloads and burgeoning digital infrastructure demand.
