Every year on 25 September, the global pharmacy community comes together to celebrate World Pharmacists Day, a moment to recognise the vital role pharmacists play in improving lives, strengthening healthcare systems, and building healthier communities.
This year’s theme, Pharmacy Strengthening Health Systems, could not be more relevant. Across the world, pharmacists are stepping beyond the dispensary counter to lead vaccination programs, champion medication safety, provide mental health support, and bring essential services to patients who may otherwise fall through the cracks.
