Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said he will raise the issue of new US tariffs on Australian goods next week with President Donald Trump after Washington imposed additional tariffs against trading partners, including Australia.

The United States announced fresh tariffs on goods from 60 trading partners, accusing the countries of not doing enough to stop trade in products produced with forced labour.

Albanese has said his government is committed to on the free, fair trade with the U.S. and revived tariffs last year after a call from Trump soon after the Labour election win.
