Medical technology company EchoIQ has secured firm commitments to raise approximately $110 million through an institutional placement supported by existing shareholders as well as new domestic and international investors.
The placement will see the company issue 75.9 million new shares at an offer price of $1.45 per share, representing 11.5% of EchoIQ’s current issued capital.
Funds to Support US Expansion and Product Development
EchoIQ said the proceeds will strengthen its balance sheet, accelerate the commercial rollout of its AI-embedded cardiovascular platform EchoSolv across the United States, and fund ongoing product development.
The capital raising follows the company’s partnership with Pro Medicus announced last month, which included a binding agreement for a $20 million convertible note investment and established Pro Medicus as the primary US reseller of the EchoSolv medical image analysis platform.
EchoIQ said the stronger balance sheet is also expected to support the development of its broader cardiovascular AI platform while creating opportunities to expand its product portfolio and deliver long-term value.
