Shell in Early Talks With ADNOC Over Australia LNG Stake
Shell is discussing a potential sale of part of its stake in the Prelude liquefied natural gas project in Australia with ADNOC and other parties. Talks remain at an early stage and may not lead to a transaction. Prelude is one of the world’s largest floating LNG facilities. Shell reported $28.3 billion in adjusted earnings for 2023 amid changing global energy market conditions.
