Nine sells 2GB, 3AW radio assets to Arthur Laundy
Nine Entertainment has agreed to sell its national radio business to the Laundy family for A$56 million, finalising its exit from broadcast radio. The media deal includes major talkback stations such as 2GB in Sydney and 3AW in Melbourne and is expected to complete by June 2026, subject to regulatory approval. The sale forms part of Nine’s broader restructuring as it adjusts its portfolio toward television, digital publishing, and outdoor advertising while maintaining ongoing commercial links with the radio network.
