An Australian medical education company, Medcast, has launched a new AI platform for Australian General Practitioners (GPs) called MedLuma. The tool aims to relieve doctors of the heavy burden of clinical documentation and note-taking, allowing them to spend more time attending to patients. One of the key features that separates us from other similar offerings, is an emphasis on high-level data security and use of Australian-only medical sources; a part of which allows doctors to stay abreast with the latest research while claiming professional credits for their learning activity. This launch is an important step toward AI-powered reduction of burnout and improved productivity in local primary care
